Last night we had a fascinating conversation, a debate that almost veered into an argument about the merits of companies providing free services in exchange for ones personal information, specifically Google. It’s been forever since I had a debate with someone whose opinion sat on the opposite side to my own, instead of a few degrees of difference. It was interesting, spirited. I’m not sure I had a change of heart, but hearing myself talk, I could see that I have drifted far enough towards a possibly paranoid conspiracy theorist that if the postcardssuddstop without warning then you can safely assume that I’ve gone off the grid, retired to my home-made log cabin buried deep in the woods of the Northwestern USA, living off the land and powering my house with dynamos and hand-cranks. Watch out. Big Government is out to get you! Google is evil. Facebook is going to go sentient. Apple is the overlord. The secret service is reading these postcards. Free thought beware. 🙂
The secret service must be reading this postcard! Its in the top three for this month!
