An unusual card today, consisting of a folded up image from the front of the Times on Monday. I had originally written something curt and unpleasant, reflecting my bad mood at the start of this week. Then I saw the cover of the Times, and the image of the deer in Richmond Park, a scene (perhaps this exact scene) that Maria and I witnessed on Sunday cycling from Barnes to Kingston via Richmond Park. It was magical, and I was compelled to use this instead.
