This was the view from Waterloo Bridge at the start of this week, a day of almost-winter in London. Here you can see the London Eye that sits on the border of the Thames, and behind it the blurry shape of the famous Big Ben tower. The building with the lighter facade is the Royal Festival Hall, a large performance space where one can hear the most famous orchestras in the world.
It’s taken me a while, but I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to write in Spanish (a language I’d like to claim I am fluent in, but my written Spanish is average at best). There are many family and friends I’d like to send postcards to but I’ve resisted for fear of exposing just how bad my Spanish is. Gracias.
