Maria looked even more beautiful in her saree yesterday than I remembered.
I saw the genuine affection that people had for her and the warmth with which I am accepted into this community and culture.
No man could be prouder
or happier.
6th Jan 2012 update: the card reached its destination: home. I sent it to Maria to our home in the UK, it was waiting for us when we got back. The only down-side is that the photo was missing. I couldn’t tell if it had fallen off, had come off during sorting through a machine, or if was deliberately taken off. I have a feeling it was the latter.
