Dear Tom,

I was cycling home through London the other night. It was dark, the city lit up and the river a black mystery. As I rode across Battersea Bridge I could see the Battersea Power Station – it’s the one on the Pink Floyd album cover ‘Animals’ with the pink pig – and on the bridge was a well-dressed woman with a giant-brimmed hat like a saucer about to take off. To finish off this incongruous scene, in my ears was you singing the cowboy song at the end of your last podcast.
