People around me speak fearfully about being asked to train their replacements. Though what is otherwise a natural process becomes laced with uncertainty when those perceived replacements are elsewhere, such as India or China.
I get that we’re all afraid for our futures and we (as individuals and an industry) need to re-invent, but isn’t training your replacement what we’re put on the planet to do?
One day we will all face the ultimate obselesence, and let’s hope there is someone to pick up the thread we have left behind.
