We spent the last two days at a charette – I didn’t know what that was until yesterday – helping re-conceptualise and design the entry space of the museum that contains an (over) abundance of Egyptian artifacts, some of which are on the cover of this postcard. Most exciting was the range of people from different background collaborating on the problem, and the way it points to a future using our skills in a world outside of feature film vfx. It’s still going to take a while, and it’s not easy, but it was a breath of fresh air outside of the studio-fearing factory that can be the modern vfx studio.
There is light at the end of the tunnel…
Hurrah for opportunities!
