I remember going to this exhibition in Santa Barbara on my own, sometime in 1998. I want to say they had a couple terracotta sculptures on display, but it could be my over-active imagination. Actually, according to the great wikipedia, they did in fact have several of the soldiers on display at that exhibition. It’s always boggled my mind, I would love to see them for real one day.
